

What is EMDR?
EMDR therapy follows a structured 8-phase protocol to help reduce the emotional charge of difficult memories and replace unhelpful beliefs with healthier, more supportive ones. Through bilateral stimulation (typically gentle eye movements), EMDR helps the brain desensitise distressing emotions and “reprocess” experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming in the present. This allows calm, clarity, and confidence to take the place of stress, fear, or self-doubt.
